Upcoming Release

Hey everyone!

Just popping back in here to drop a little update.

I started messing around with procreate a little more seriously and have gotten feedback from other artists. Behind the scenes, I've been working on some character art for the upcoming release of the prequel to The Lost Prince Series. I'm hoping to share them sometime over the next few weeks before the book actually releases, but I need to put a disclaimer out there.

I am in no way, shape, or form, a good artist and my art is sub-par at best. An author goal of mine for the future is to be able to hire an artist to really bring these characters to life, not only for myself, but for my readers too. At this time, I am sadly stuck in a corner where I have limited options and I refuse to resort to AI to generate pictures of my characters. So, when you come across the God of Darkness on my feed but he's not quite the hot tamale you pictured...just know that I drew him...by hand....for hours.

And I most definitely cried over faces and hands.

I've already started creating what I call my "roster" of artists and editors I'd like to work with in the future. Maybe one day, I'll be able to check those goals off my author bucket list, but for the time being, I'm stuck sobbing over faces and hands.

Please don't judge my man too harshly. He's trying his best, okay?

And for all the artists on Threads that reached out to me and offered advice, tips, and pointers to help improve my work from where it was, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It may have seemed like such a small piece of advice, but it put things into a bigger perspective for me and I greatly appreciate it.

Back to the writing void I go!!!
